Brian Wood of Amnesty International says the long-range stun guns could "inflict pain and other suffering on innocent bystanders".

However, if I had to choose incapacitating elctricity and a bullet, I'll take the shock. I'd also take it over a 12 gauge sized rubber pellet.

Here's to hoping that they skip that part & go straight to the super-happy-anti-riot chemical spray of "A Brave New World".

That's the thing, is this article opens up a lot of things - it's ionized gas taht carries an electrical charge, but if it's an ionized gas, that makes it a chemical or biological weapon, doesn't it? But I guess it's just the brown countries we don't want developing those. Anyway, I think they need to switch to sonic pulse weapons - knock people into next week with a soundwave.
