You surprise me Roo.
First of all, we're being taxed to death right now so the corporations can get subsidies to move the jobs overseas. This is effectively lowering wages and standard of living in this country. Bush says "a million jobs were created in the last three months". Are you aware that 64% of those jobs come with no health care coverage?

Are you also aware that under bill clinton, welfare payments were at a 30 year low, while the federal budget was balanced?

You worry about being taxed to death? Dubya has run up a trillion dollars in debt that your taxes are paying INTEREST on. 33 million bucks per hour in interest alone. That's 33 million bucks that could be building roads, bridges, hospitals, bombs and missiles, that is being wasted paying interest to the big banks and foreign investors who are bankrolling bush's lack of financial responsibility. Talk about a threat to national security! It's like you and me taking a pay cut, then using our credit cards to keep up the same standard of living. How long do you think that can continue? Do the math.
