| Just because the vast majority of would be lock pickers are would be thieves doesn't mean that this specific one is, being a member of this board makes it fairly likely that he's one of the "weird" would be lock pickers, this place is filled with the "different" 5% of the world...
Plus, i know how to kick down doors, and use a sword to kill someone, but it doesn't make me a would-be assassin.
I think it's not so much the fact that lock picking is of questionable legality, i hope not at least, this would be a hilarious place to see people telling him not to pick locks because it might get him in trouble. It's more that the members of this board value their privacy, for personal reasons, and because a lot of them have a bunch of illegal(expensive) stuff behind their locked doors, and someone with a lockpick could bust in, grab a bunch of it, and leave, without the noise of breaking the door down.
That would leave us up shit creak, can't call the cops because of all the rest of the illegal shit (Yeah officer, someone broke in and stole half a pound of weed, some mushrooms, and my growlights...).
Plus we seem to have an extra special hatred for thieves, for one reason or another.
