There is a book(and a movie) about just exactly this... Johnny Mnemonic.

It's a good book, and an alright movie, but what it's basicly about is that it makes far more cash if you treat and illness rather then curing it.

That blerb quoted above scares the shit out of me, that is some ugly stuff to think about there.

I may have started as an intelligent ape, but now i am something more then that, an intelligent tripping ape!
