I think, really, you want to secede from the Union, not emancipate your state. Can states be emancipated? Like Iraq and Afganistan? This is why I don't post in R&R anymore...

I was reading <u>Guerilla Warfare</u> by Che Guevara the other day and in the foreward this Retired USMC Major talks about different kinds of unrest:

"Civil war is between two groups of the same nation.
Rebellion is open, organized resistance against a previously established authority.
Revolution is a successful rebellion.
Revolt and insurrection are armed uprising in which the outcomes is quickly decided.
Bandit warfare is armed fighting to support life by plunder.
Partisan or orthodox guerilla warfare is armed fighting by light troops, detached or seperated from a regular army, whose operations they support principally by harrassing the common enemy, usually without siexing or defending substantial areas."

Just found it interesting.
