i hope people learn from this devastating event. its about time people learned that one mother nature can always kick your ass. two if we are living in areas where cause for natural disaster is high have warning systems spend the extra thousand bucks a month to have a monitor in the ocean. a vast majority of the death that took place from this wave could have been avoided if a simple warning system was in place. its insane how no one will spend money on something could potentially save lives until after thousands of people die. we make no sense. the same thing goes for this global warming issue instead of waiting for people to start dieing from it why dont we spend the cash change the policies NOW to prevent the problem before it gets out of control. people think that by protecting the environment or trying to stop global warming the economy will be destroyed. thats total nonsense an economy could be set up or policies implemented where protecting the environment and reducing emissions would be beneficial to corporations etc. but with the head of an oil company in office i sadly dont think thats gonna happen until america gets its kick in the ass by nature
