Funny you wrote that, i have an old issue of 2600 magazine around here somewhere that details the best way to get a nhonorable discharge by having them think that you're section 8.

As far as this guy goes, it could be worse: In PA, a guy shot one of 2 ARMED thieves and was charged with attempted murder.

I realize that there are certain specifics that have to be met in order to make a situation qualify for "self-defense" (which this did), but the guy still wound up going to jail.
