use the manure to make a 'tea' and you can water/feed the plants at one time.
proly need plenty of nitrogen now to sustain growth,
new growth is often a lighter green until it ages a bit.
you want deep pots as canna sends its taproot straight down,
shallow pots yield more males,
deeper pots = more females
shade won't help flowering,
you'd need total darkness [blackout cloth] to really effect it.
