smacked12 LEVEL +10 - IN GOOD STANDING
when i was playing around with filter patch bags i'd vacuum seal two rolled up bags in a food saver bag. then pasteurize as usual. if you have access to a vacuum sealer this works great!

now i do it with all my subs. it's a great mess free way of dealing with pasteurization. i mix my coir/verm/castings. load into vacuum bags. vacuum seal. drop into a pot of 165 degree water for one and half hours. once done i can take my time using my sub.

i've let bags sit up to four weeks after they were pasteurized and i've never had any problems with them.
