Bromius LEVEL +10 - IN GOOD STANDING
Nice toy, and I'm sure it certainly kept the aerospace defense contractors/lobby happy. Nuclear war, like most other competitive processes is coevolutionary in nature. We build a 4 billion dollar missile defense system, they say fuck ICBMs and figure out how to build a tactical nuke that fits in a suitcase. I figure this system will be useful from about now to the time its actually implemented.

I've said this before on here and I'll say it again, we need to approach the nuke situation DEA style. Construct multiple credible terrorist organizations within the United States and use it to make 'controlled buys' overseas with the supposed intention of bringing them back over and setting them off. Perhaps even stage a botched detonation where the high explosive goes off but for whatever reason no fission occurs. Make the people that want to get the things into the country believe that they can do it so that they give up any remaining stockpiles.

On a side note, I saw an article about the FBI that said the number of fluent arabic speakers in the bureau had only gone up by like 20% post 911. How many linguists could you train with a billion dollars? People that can infiltrate or impersonate would be terrorists are what we need, not hardware.
