If we are to break this cycle...we should first stop stereotyping goth/emo kids - and then stop stereotyping other people emotions - and then maybe show a little love instead of just talking about it.
And since inflection is so difficult online, I will clarify - What you are saying is starting the cycles, and not attempting to break them.
