Funny, lately I've been considering New Hampshire for the site of a business I want to launch. Seems like the state govt there, compared to the one in the state where I live is more laissez-faire. I believe they don't have an income tax. I like the idea of starting my own business because despite being very hard work, I can dictate company policy. I could treat my employees kindly, not subject them to ridiculous drug tests and pay them a decent wage. I detest being a tool that makes somebody who doesn't care about me richer. Owning a business and having a conscience seems like the best way to address that issue.
Also, I just read a book online recommended by a member here, Glasshopper, in the R&R forum. It was called a Lodge of Wayferring Men. Seems like the guy who wrote it was a libertarian type. I own Atlas shrugged too, but have yet to read it. Maybe now is the time
