| the idea with the tea, with most other extractions is to have as much surface area (ground material) exposed as possible. then, your tea needs to steep for at least 20-25 minutes ime for a good tea. so to answer your question, i dont know unless you meet the above criteria. i have read where people make coffee, with the ground pods in the coffee filter, but it seems again like there would be waste. The best way i have found to make tea is bring some acidified water (acidify with lemon/lime/phosphoric etc.) to a rolling boil, turn off the heat and add your finely ground pods to the water. use an old t shirt or similar cloth to strain after it steeps 25 minutes and drink up. i do use a tiny bit of sugar.
