Its even more drastic now (those numbers are 10 years old). Half as many dutch youth have smoked pot in the last month as american or other european youth (except germans for some reason). Reduced use of other drugs is really remarkable - use of cocain, heroine, XTC, and other drugs is less than 10% of that amoung american youth. I think pot is a gateway drug if you have to visit a dealer who has other drugs... I like X and LSD, but don't do them because I have no idea where I'd buy them (not at the coffeeshop)...the junkie up the street doesn't count.
