| Well I was attempting to so a strain isolation, but, unfortunately i was "called away" for a few months and the original petri dishes grew over (well before I was able to isolate any one single type of mycelium from them. Rather that Just start over. I used these to colonize many jars. ( I have read places that IF you alow the mycelium to over run the entire petri dish that its possible to get more than one strain on to of another.)
