I had a friend who had something similar start to occur with him. Everyone around him somewhat ignored it until he had a total psychotic break with reality and went on a rampage which put himself in danger. Once he was found (living homeless in winter on the streets of New York starving and freezing) he was taken to a hospital and diagnosed with schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. At first he refused his medication and suffered greatly from this eventually losing touch with anyone and everyone. Now he lives in a house that was paid for by someone else and lives off of a disability check and never leaves his house.

Mental illness is a very real and serious problem in many peoples lives. It has nothing to do with their state of mind and in some cases cannot be dealt with alone. I'm not sure about your situation but if I were having the same experiences as you I would seek medical help first and foremost as I've heard of experiences like yours many times in my life and each and every time it turned out to be negative.

I hope all is well for you regardless of how you choose to handle this. Peace to you.
