| Ascorbic acid is more commonly known as Vitamin C. Crushed up vitamin tablets will work like a champ. Add the C before the mush powder.
Any everclear will work. Regular high proof booze (like 151 rum) will work, but the extra water will cause the magic to break down faster.
Regular coffee filters will work. A paper towel or T-Shirt will work in a pinch.
You can evap as low as you want, though the speed that it happens will depend on how dry/humid your environment is. Do some testing with plain everclear to see how long it takes you to evaporate the volume you are looking for.
Everclear tastes pretty much just like rubbing alcohol smells. It is pure booze, after all.
