seek instead to become a light in this dark world,
use that ego to drive you beyond the limits of the ordinary.
if the divine is like living water
then the individual ego is like a snowflake-
'frozen' god-stuff
beautiful and unique,
crystalline ego.
sure, we could melt the ego and become water
but in being a snowflake there is greater beauty -
which is why god becomes us,
like snow falling on the earth
so are we as we are born".
