elfstone LEVEL +10 - IN GOOD STANDING
In my mid twenties, I loved smoking whatever I could get my greedy little mitts on. In fact, I was a total weedhead, growing my own bud and smoking from the time I woke up until I went to bed for about 5 years. It certainly does seem, in retrospect, that I had smoked my lifetime allotment during that time. Once I started working with the mushroom, the first thing I was told that for the deeper visions to open up, I was going to have to set aside my addiction to weed, emphasizing that my constitution wasn't suited to it and that I had a lot of service yet to perform on this life journey. I was also involved with the Gurdjieff work and would go six months smoking and 6 months off to increase the "struggle between yes and no" so as to increase the transformative energies in the organism. Eventually, I realized I just felt much better physically during the "no" phases and just let it go completely.

During those smoking years I did manage to obtain some 5-MeO-DMT and enjoyed it greatly. But it wasn't until after about 5 years that the N,N molecule crossed my path, and at that point, smoking anything was experienced as an aversive event. So attempts to smoke N,N-DMT generally have resulted in the trip becoming a recovery from the assault on my lungs. I just can't get into it through that route. In contrast, the oral route, using ayahuasca, opens up an amazing and deep journey into a miraculous transformative matrix, eliciting wonderful synchronicity where the inner and outer worlds merge into the One reality.

That being said, I also find that the experience elicited by the 4-Phosphoryloxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine is even deeper for me than ayahuasca as it sits better with my system. The harmaline in the ayahuasca leaves me feeling a tad toxified in comparison to the mushroom, which always leaves me feeling energized and healed for a week after.
