imus didn't get locked in a cage.
as i see it
caging humans is fundamentally wrong.
it's cruel, inhumane -
prolonged torture.
i never called for imus to be tortured,
i said that he had breached the public trust
and should not be given the microphone
at a FCC-licensed publically-owned network.
i said that he should
go back to his ranch and do good works.
and i'd have no problem with
the same for paris-
say 45 days of
house arrest, ankle braclet, drug/alcohol tests.
that would get her attention.
and some community service along with a healthy fine
and an extension of her suspension from driving.
that's plenty harsh.
