Bumping this thread, because it's cool! That poll-shuffling feature is pretty neat!
I always assume that all my dreams are in color, as I've never had a dream that was plainly in black and white. Usually colour is not a main feature of my dreams. When colour is the focal point of my dreams, the colours are usually very vivid, and the dream is very realistic, like a lucid dream.
Someone early on in this thread mentioned something about people aren't "supposed to be able to recognize numbers" in their dream or something to that effect. That's in no way true: I used to get a recurring nightmare when I was little that was nothing but recurring numbers, colours, and patterns. The subject of the dream was a war, and different colors represented different states. Rough, sandpapery colors were associated with the sounds of bombs, carnage, etc. Smooth, creamy colors were the lulls between blasts. The dream would always end with a different number repeating over and over, like through a loudspeaker. I used to dream like this mostly when I was sick (around the ages of 6-10 years old).
What sort of recurring dreams do you have?
