Hey guys! I suppose you could change the thread title if needed. I guess I am the only vendor that is really into ethnobotanicals on this board who regularly posts info on botanicals!! Fine with me ha. To answer some questions:

First and foremost, I cannot specifically answer any questions regarding human consumption of ANYTHING. For me to do so would make me subject to the analog act; not something I want to be subject to. So any and all questions that refer to HUMAN consumption cannot be answered. If you would like to talk about your legitimate ethnobotanical research on lab mice, or experiments in a clinical setting, lets do it. Please no posts about, "I smoked ABC and felt XYZ" I cannot respond to these sorts of things as per the advice of my legal team. With that said, if anyone has PMed me or openly asked a question to which I have not responded , I am not trying to slight you or insult you by not responding... no not at all, its probably that I simply cannot legally answer your question. I hope you can all understand =\

With that said, Pedicularis can be made into a wonderful extract. Billybee is just about dead on in his theory of extraction methods. A simple 50-50 water and alcohol extract will do nicely and will produce somewhere in the ballpark of a 5X resin extract. Considering that this material is some of the finest quality you will find anywhere... 5X is quite potent for labratory use. While many researchers have found oral consumption in animals ineffective, I disagree. I have observed muscle relaxtion, sedation, and analgesia in lab animals. However, inhaled, it is effective in smaller amounts from what I have seen in the animals.

Sincerely,

Tyler
