Of course, all of the ideas I have about woodlovers were borrowed from your experiments.
Did you supplement the woodchip bags?
My plan is to try 10% and 20% supplementation with wheat bran.
Then, as your thread suggests, use the colonized block as a "starter block" (pun intended......mycelium running) for an outdoor colony.
This idea based upon some comments by Workman regarding the "island effect" and spawning or expanding outdoor beds. Paraphrased, it seems that a large mycelial colony is stronger and more aggressive than one which has been broken up and mixed with substrate.
