1 Acre of Hemp = 300 Gallons per crop (3 months?, 1200 gallons a year from 1 acre)
Could be grown
anywhere, i.e. in our cities using all the old large factories and other "abandoned" buisness structures as massive greenhouses, as part of a rotational crop in our Farmlands, along roadsides (Imagine highways lined with hemp plants, when the D.O.T. mowed the "grass", they could collect it for processing.)
Not to mention the plethora of other byproducts availabe from the plant,,,
Let's see Hydrogen or switchgrass pull that off.
According to a mini-documentary I saw on the Science channel, 1 Gallon would only run about $1.50 U.S.D. once processed.
