Yes,not knowing what to expect in woodlover flushes I was impressed by this flush myself. The fifth was even better.

Between flushes throughout the grow the casing was dunked up to but not including the casing layer. While this resulted in similar weights for the first three flushes, on the fourth flush there was a marked reduction in the number of shrooms produced. Being especially meaty partly made up some what this flush lacked in numbers but there was still about a third reduction in weight.

At this point my choices were to finish with the grow or speriment. The latter was chosen. The casing layer which was pretty ragged after four flushes was stripped and the substrate mixed with a small amount of potting soil, coir and dilute seaweed extract to act as filler. This was given time to reknit, cased and placed under fruiting conditions. The fifth flush resulting in the heaviest flush of all.

The sixth started out by pinning nicely and although a good number of shrooms were produced they wer much reduced in size and weight. I'm undecided whether this was due to the substrate now retaining too much water or whether nutrients had just run out as I don't recall anything similar elsewhere.

This has been a very interesting grow and its got me wandering whether by adding substrate, allowing to collonize, fruiting and repeating one could keep a grow going and flushing indefinately.
Anyway I've got some other projects and I'm winding up this grow in its present form although I still might try something with the tray for an outdoors grow.
Pics in order are of the fourth, fifth and sixth flushes.
