I'm not sure. I wish I knew if this would work, but I don't see why it wouldn't. I would try the oven. It recently has poven to work well with BRF jars, so I don't see why agar wouldn't be the same. In the oven it's important to gradually get the temp up on the jars. I think I have read 250 is what you set it to for 45 minutes. I would ask IL, he should know.
