Tell me what ya'll think.. Yay.. or Nay.. I plan to try this if I can ever get enough mushies to try it with..

This is a way to extract the Psilo out of mushies.. It gets it to about 50-60 % purity.. I havent tried it yet but the person who told me really knows his chem stuff.. To get it pure you need to do chromatography..

1. Do a long METHANOL soak with powdered mushies.. Must be methanol.. Dont know why but this is what Im told.. Let it soak a couple weeks.. You can repeat the soak a few times to get most of the goodies out..

2. Strain..

3. Evap methanol under vac..

4. Scrape all the residue..

5. Take the scraped residue and dissolve in naptha.. A foaf says use lighter fluid.. Naptha also works but for some reason foaf says lighter fluid works better? IDK.. Anyways.. Once dissolved let the solvent/goodies sit.. The crap will stay in the solvent and the goodies will settle out to the bottom of your beaker or whatever your using..

6. Decant the fluid..

7. Dry your crude psilocybin..

About 20mg is a good dose if pure.. So!.. About 40-50 mg will send ya sailin'..

Any other chem dudes or dudettes that could confirm this?
