Dishsoap dunk?

I always seem to have trouble with straw logs contaminating after a post-flush dunk so I got to thinking that in addition to the low bleach solution what if I mixed in just a touch of dish soap with it. I believe the active chemical is triclosan. I know that triclosan is probably an anti-mycotic as we as anti bacterial, but I though in a very low concentration it might not harm the log.

Any thoughts as to whether or not this would work?
Or more importantly, be harmful in some way?
