Research chemicals. They aren't normally allowed to be discussed on Mycotopia, because they sometimes have a quasi-legal status, and can be purchased online. These threads often lead to price and source discussion, so they are not normally allowed to be discussed here, to keep people safe and from breaking rules.

A few years back there was a huge raid on several RC suppliers, and the Analog Act was passed, to encompass most of these things, although they are not necessarily specified in the law books. The Analog Act was passed to encompass drugs that have similar effects or chemical structures, or both, effectively making anyone who possesses them subject to prosecution.

They are mostly tryptamines and phenethylamines, that give psychoactive effects, but are not necessarily specifically classified (sometimes they are) by the government as illegal. They have not been around for for as long as the illegal drugs, and they have not been studied or researched enough for any period of time, to determine their safety and/or effects.

They are often passed off as LSD in various forms, because they can have doses small enough to fit many LSD carriers. Some people like them, but SWIM has yet to try any that he enjoyed more than the classic illegal stuff, and he has tried a handful or so.
