worked fine,
learned i should
a] remove the tape covering the filter holes on BOTH ends of it
b] pre-heat the wort before pouring into mr.distiller would have saved time.
got about a full fifth out of my first batch,
and the candy red-hots worked fine, too.
all in all
a pretty easy way to make 'shine,
esp. for total newbs like myself.
