Foaf has been working with some pesa isolates. it began from one drop of multispore on popcorn. one kernel was selected and put on agar then selections were made plate to plate for the most rhizomorphic growth. agar to master jars of rye berries and g2g up to 3 generations. the substrate for these monotubs are straw/coir/strawnet/verm with some horse poo and castings. steam sterilized in a 55 gal drum. The two monotubs have no casing and the double tub is cased with coir/verm that was sterilized in a pc in filterpatch bags. foaf makes 1 1/4 inch holes, 3 per side of tub and polyfills. the pictures were taken maybe the 4th or 5th day since the first primordia was noticed. the temp of the room the tubs are in is 71 degrees.
