tuna salad: 1 can albacore on water 1 cluster of oyster mushrooms chopped 1 handful of cherry tomatoes 1 tsp mayonnaise 1 tsp mustard dashes of soy sauce, dill weed, wasabi, cayenne, hempseed oil, and whatever else suits your fancy and some lettuce, I generally purchase the sweet and spicey salad mix from the bulk bin that has like 10 different greens in it at least. a little olive oil and vinegar on the greens and a beer (Humboldt Brewery's Hemp Ale)

All day crock pot cooked beef roast Steamed broccoli w/American chs melt baked potatoes w sour cream n butter Strawberries dipped in 60% Cacao chocolate light beer so cold the neck of the glass bottle is starting to get slushy. A note about the beef. So easy, 5 lbs of beef for about $8, put roast in oven and broil for 10 minutes to hold in the juices. Next, put roast in crock pot with a can of beef broth, one chopped clove of garlic (fresh) , 2 med chopped onions. Cook on high in the crock pot for 3 hours then put it on low for at least two more. When the meat comes out its so tender and moist it falls apart when you touch it. The broth can be used to make a awesome soup that same evening. Just add vegetables and water for a nice beef soup. We'll eat the beef from the roast all weekend, sandwiches etc. The soup will get frozen and last for months.

Oh man it is SO yummy! If you're cooking it in the crockpot, you probably only need about a half a bottle or less since you don't lose a lot of moisture from the crock. When i cook post roast in the oven though i use enough to cover the layer vegetables on the bottom. Usually a bottle, maybe a bottle and a half if it's a big roast.

Right now I am eating Carolina BBQ Utz potato chips. I love cooking with beer. And I like to switch up beers from tie to time when i cook a certain dish. I boil italian sausage in beer, while saute-ing peppers and onions in a skillet. Take out the sausage when they are bon boiling and put them with the peppers and onions. Then put all of that in a bun and eat ![]() different beers give the sausage a different taste. |

Poppy Yogurt dessert 3 large poppy pods de-seeded, de-stemed, powdered in grinder mixed with... 2 small servings of vanilla yogurt with blueberrys, chopped strawberries, apple and granola. Set in the fridge for a couple hours. Let the yogurt work on the grain and plant fiber. It's really yummy and will get you stoned. Top it off with a doobie One of the main ingredients in pods is used to treat rectal cancer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NoscapineAnother main alkaloid in the pods is used to treat intestinal ailments like spasm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papaverine

Chicken and wild rice soup that i made last night green tea with honey I consider this a 'found' soup, because i made it with leftovers that i found in the fridge. I baked a chicken with potatoes and carrots last week that had been picked over, so i decided to use the rest of it for soup. I picked off the remaining meat then put the carcass in a big pot to make stock. I keep zip lock bags in the freezer full of leftover bones and vegetable scraps just for making stock, so i dumped in a couple bags that had chicken and lamb bones, shiitake stems, leek leaves and celery leaves. Added a bunch of herbs and a handful of whole peppercorns and left that to simmer for about 3 hours. I had to keep adding water as it steamed out. When i felt the stock was ready, i chopped some carrots, about a half of a small onion and a few cloves of garlic. I wilted these in olive oil then tossed in half a chopped bell pepper and a hunk of cabbage cut into large bites. Wilted those a little bit then poured the filtered stock in. Added the shredded chicken, the potatoes and carrots from the baking dish plus all the yummy jellied pan juices. Added some more spices and salt, then a chopped tomato and a cup or so of leftover wild rice. Fabuloso!
