3 Little additions to the family (Kittens)

As some of you know by now because we discussed it in chat hehehe. Irishlion found 3 newborn kittens in our basement a week or two after, moving into our house. The mother of the babies is very young and a bit wild. She abandoned them and wasn't taking very good care of them. Irishlion saved the one kittens infected eye and from then on there I had to start nursing them, cleaning, and now weaning them from the milk to solid food. They are actually doing good and look very healthy and happy.

They are too adorable to be left for dead. One is a beautiful Calico or I'm not sure it maybe a tabby. male I named, (Thai) then, the other two are pure and solid black, they look very identical to one another unless you look at the eyes.
The male one is named (Pan), and the one and only female is named, (Cyan)...

So whats up with the mom? She's totally feral?

My kittycat is a stray too... she had a litter of kittens in her first heat the vets said and she tried to take care of them, but just wasn't able. She couldn't produce enough milk and they bit the shit outta her belly. They all had to be put down tho... you guys are awesome for doing that... it's not easy.

The stupid cat woman has a shitload of rescues and has issues about letting any of them go, she is a kuckoo i believe
I want a new male bengal but Connie wont let me spend the $$ on one

It does not look like Scamper will ever return.
If i ever find out who took Scamper Bear from us they will die a horrible death

just keep looking on petfinder and cl,
we got ours for free with vet references;
I know it won't replace your Scamper

Sad to say the least johnnydigital she totally is feral.

We tried to get her to warm up to us and feed her but, she wanted nothing of the sorts. We haven't heard or seen any trace of her in a week or so now. I wonder if she is even alive or even if she cares about her babies? but, I'm blessed by having them to care, nurture, raise, and etc... It takes a lot of patience just like with all babies from humans, dogs, and so on...

I did get to meet who I think is the daddy of the babies. He is very vocal just like Thai is..hmmm He is beautiful and orange all over. but, alas another one that is afraid of people.. I had to be protective of the little ones because you know the history of a tom cat... they will kill all the males in their pride and leave the females.. He tried to seek up my stairs but, as soon as he shot up them I was right behind him and he didn't even make it as far as to the dinning room and ran back down to the basement...

We did find where they are getting in though and irish said he needs to fill in the holes to be safe... Just weird all these cats and strays ending up in our house though. I love cats

Alounacara I really do understand what you are going through with Scamper bear being missing. My heart does go out to you.. Maybe Connie will change her mind and let you have another bengal cat or hopefully scamper will show up.. (I'm praying he does) He was very beautiful.

Seems like your little one's have made it past the 'make or break' point. Once you start weening them, either they die quickly, or they will fight and make it. Seems like you've got some fighters there... Do you guys think that the cat gave birth in your basement? Or did the kittens somehow get herded in there by the mother?

My rescue cat has truly been a blessing. When my wife and I split up, she took all 4 of our animals (2 dogs, 2 cats) and left me with nada. Although I could've totally fought it, and gotten them back, I know she will take good care of them, and I dont want the drama with her. So, I got me a little rescue cat that I love to death. She's had such a hard life, and she knows it... she's the most grateful cat I've ever had. I think when your little ones grow up, they'll know that you saved them... and they will be thankful. Rock on you two

One more little thing... the Pedialyte I've been playing around with, actually came from when I was trying to save a dehydrated 4 week old kitten. If they start to get dehydrated, that stuff works wonders.

Ive already put in a order for another male but i cant get him until December.

I have to keep donations and other Mycotopian things from her because she does not understand about certain "brotherhood" things we do in here.
Ive already put a deposit down on another one.
I want another Bengal because they are a lot smarter than a regular tabby cat.

I love little kittens, they are so much fun!
The other day I pulled in my driveway (1/8 mile driveway) and saw what I thought was a tiny little kitten clumsily walking towards me about halfway down. As I approached, I found it was an itsy bitsy teennie weenie skunk, white stripe and all. I have never seen anything so cute in my life! The little guy got scared when my truck slowly pulled up next to him and he clumsily ran into the weeds. Don't know were momma was and I wasn't about to find out.

that brought back memories when my cousin had an encounter with a skunk and he thought it was a Cat So, needless to say he had to sit in a tomato juice bath, Definitely made him think twice about any animals But, skunks are cute but, totally lethal to the smell. Thank God you didn't have an encounter with the momma.

actually I'm enjoying the fact that they are very active now and not sleeping much... They are very playful. I get attacked, scratched, and bit like crazy. Of Cyan she is the very affection one so, she love climbing up on your lap and let you pet her. They all seem to be very affection at times with the climbing up to your face and licking and nuzzling. Cyan was doing that irishlion and bit him on the nose. Now that was funny.

Cyan seems to be the leader now of the bunch and they seem to follow her lead... She's a smart one and I'm looking forward to see her climb over the little gate we have set up in the kitchen for them soon...

We finially named her "Sissy Bear"
We had to put her in the kitty hospital for a few days because she was so sick and dehydrated from a nasty cold/upper respiratory infection.
Anyway $500 later she is all happy and healthy again
