Don't throw away those pumpkin seeds, here's a recipe to cook them up...

INGREDIENTS
* 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine, melted
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
* 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
* 2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
2. Combine the margarine, salt, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and pumpkin seeds. Mix thoroughly and place in shallow baking dish.
3. Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

My birds go crazy for toasted pumpkin seeds. We use them for treats.

I love 'em too!

You can grind them and make pumpkin seed butter too. It's yummy!

Tasty! Wait...tell me more.. You roast
them, then grind them right? That sounds
damn good. I gotta try that

Oh hey, what if you were to spice them, roast
them, grind them into butter, and then use them
in a soup, like a soup from the pumpkin they came out
of, to kick up the creaminess factor. Ive got half a
butternut squash that I might have to try that with..
thanks for the inspiration

No need to grind them. Pumpkin seeds become crispy when you roast them.

You eat the whole seed. Crunchy and delicious.
