Posting Pictures

Type in some kind of description into the picture desciption text box to the right of the text editor, it doesn't really matter what you type because in most cases it only appears upon 'mouse-over'

When I insert a picture, I type out what I want to say in the text editor, then I type in a little cheesy description, and click the "Add Picture Formatting" button. That will insert the correct command with the correct syntax.

Type in your username and password, click the preview button, and it'll come up with the preview and the little mushroom "Your pic here" box wherever you inserted the command. Click the post message button, then another screen will come up saying to please enter the path for the image file "cheesy description here."

Click the browse button and pick your file, then click upload.

You just put all of the picture links in the same post such as:
\image{pic description 1}
\image{pic description 2}
\image{pic description 3}
\image{pic description 4}
with your text positioned where you want it and then put your
id/pwd in and click on Preview/Post.
You will then get a chance to see where the pics will be
in relation to the words.
Then click on post and you will get a list of the descriptions
you have put in the \image links.
Browse to the pics like you would normally do for each of the pics
Otherwise it is the same as with a single pic.

the code for linking images is
\imagelink{URL,name}

the name of the pic can be anything you choose, it's just for the mouse-over.

to upload pictures, the code is
\image{name}

once you've entered that code & your text of your post, hit "preview/post message button.
the preview screen will show this icon []
where the pic will be.
assuming the preview looks good,
click the "post this message" button,
you will then go to a screen where you'll be prompted to browse your computer for the desired pic. just click on it to highlight/enter it.
after that, hit the "post" button to finalize the upload and you'll return to the thread view screen and see your new post, complete with pics.

As to your picture uploading question:
You don't need to have the pics anywhere but your computer.
Put the "description of picture" in the box above the
"Add picture formating" button below.
Then click the button and it will add the preformated code
\image{description of picture}.
Enter your text and add as many pics as you need.
Then put your username/password below and click on the
"Preview/Post Message" button.
You will see muchroom gifs [ "] where your pics will be placed and you
can move your text to fit in where you want it.
Then click the "Post" button then another screen will come
up saying to please enter the path for the image file
"description of picture" and any other "\image{descriptions}"
you have entered in your post.
Click the browse button and pick your file, then click upload.
