    our policy here on personal info is
    don't ask, don't tell.
    i'm sure if you stop to think about it for a second, you'll understand why it's not a good idea for folks' to get specific about themselves.
    esp. if where they live is a place where our hobby is illegal.
    that compromises all of us,
    because then we know that the law is being broken,
    which makes us co-conspirators.
    this site trys to avoid that kind of heat.
    we assume everyone is legal and we prefer not to know otherwise.
    so, don't ask, don't tell.
    this also applies to other personal info, such as your age- if you're only 15, we don't want to know. ditto for real name, school you went to, etc.
