    Well I typed a long response to this thread, then I accidently deleted it and I type so slow, so I'll just give the briefs.

    It all depends what you want to do for the old noodle. I for instance am extremly dislexic and take piracetam quite often because it "fixes" it, after about a week or so on it regulary. Without I can't even tell my left from right unless I stop to think about it. It also seems to enhance creativity quite a bit, everyone I ever gave some to invariably says the same thing (no, I don't plant the suggestion about it) "I took that pill you gave me.. I didn't feel much but I did the best (insert various creative outlet, i.e writing, painting, jam session etc.) I have ever done!" EVERY time, and I have given away quite alot.

    If I were to say "the best" smartdrug I would have to say hydergene (kinda expensive though) is by far the best, but most work even better with the synergy of being mixed with certain other ones (i.e. you take less of both hydergene and piracetam, for the same effect, when they are taken together)
    Also effectiveness is enhanced when most smartdrugs are taken with a vasodialator like picamillion or even ginko. Vassopressin is the absolute best for that "be here now" feeling and to clear brainfog.

    Again it depends on what you want the nootroptic for (memory, cognition, alertness, creativity, etc.) maybe this will help:

    Best psychedelic in my opinion is peyote (if you have the stomach for it) but then there is the whole endangered species and slow to grow thing. I guess the best one for me is the one on hand (cheeky ain't I?).
