Ok kids....
Mycotopia is having a Pumpkin Carving contest.
1 winner will be picked for a pumpkin package, which so far includes....
-
100 stix [assorted scents] of incense, a mushroom-shaped incense-holder, a Topia tshirt, DVD and other misc. goodies.
-
RULES: no photoshop, no store bought stencil designs... let's have original pumpkins. voting will happen on halloween

Get Carving and be CREATIVE!!!

Nice entry. Definately good artwork there. My pumpkin buying hasn't even started yet, so the carving will have to wait for a couple weeks. Otherwise the pumpkin doesn't make it all the way to Halloween.

I was looking at last years pumpkins and it really got me in the mood to get a head start on it, I live about 2miles from a farm and they happen to have alot already out, the old lady wanted to make a big one, when I say big she got the big pumpkin, then I got the other 2..we get home and she gets the idea to make a haunted house, so we started making it with just the big one, got about half way done with it and she got the idea to put the other pumpkin on top to make it like a 2nd story part...took about 3 hours..after that I toked up to help bring my trip to a more relaxed feeling and got to work on MY pumpkin...I'd like you to look at it and tell me what you think it is.

Bet you wont guess!!!

Sorry about that Hippe, I still don't know if this is right, please let me know, I'm new here don't wanna be getting warned up already. =p

That tree is awesome Smokey. Great detail. The other is supposed to be a haunted house or something right? Seems a bit abstract, but great detail there too. Have to work with what you got right? The pumpkins take on their own personality after the first couple cuts. Again, great tree. That is so kewl.

Also how many pumpkins can each person enter because I think I might do a new if it's only one because the house and trippy tree isnt to mushroomy..thanks

Here's my entry. Hope you like it Hippie! You can tell that I DID NOT use a STENCIL. All me. It took a while, I used a drill bit and scroll saw blade. I think it is a winning piece. I hope everyone likes it, as it was for all TOPIANS to enjoy! Everyone have a safe and spooky Halloween! Sorry my camera sucks.
