DMT Extraction Slow Cooker/Crockpot Question

Swim will be attempting their second DMT extraction shortly using
300g MHRB and 1000mg of Vitamin C per Quart of water. SWIM has found a slow cooker to use but it is metal coated in teflon (non-stick).

Is it safe to cook slightly acidified mimosa hostilis without it dissolving the coating?

Many Thanks

Teflon is very resistant to chemical attack. It should be OK. However, watch out if the teflon is old and flaking off. You don't want any pieces of teflon in the product because vaporized teflon decomposes into toxic phosgene gas. Which was used in world war I to kill people...

Thanks guys!

I think i'll play it safe and get a ceramic lined one.

DMT vapour tastes bad enough without the addition of a toxic gas!

and of course those big five dollar stainless steel salad bowls from big box mart are a classic, too.
