the only relevant info i found for an extract:

    http://forums.mycotopia.net/showthre...kratom+extract (Kratom-everclear extract ?)
    http://forums.mycotopia.net/showthre...kratom+extract (Kratom Preparation)

not familiar with making of extracts but shouldnt it be similar to Dmt or Mescaline extraction. what is the active chemical that messes with us in Kratom?

Well, I'm not interested in how it is done, but more what the effects will be,..if the extraction will change the effects...

Katom has alot of alkaloids,..mitragynine is the main indole alkaloid.

I have tried the 15x kratom which i believe was alcohol extracted..
My impression was, that it seemed more sedating than the whole leaf..
I much prefer the balanced up/down buzz the leaf provides...

Are you trying to find a shortcut around that lovely flavour.. ...
My preference is to make a paste with cold milk then add more milk -mix n chug...It's surprizing how well the flavour is masked this way..

Best if its a fine powder as it goes down easier...

If ya do the leaf straight, or an extract, the more ya do the deeper the effect. I did a rather large dose and did feel sedated, with a mild sweat, and itchy feeling...It doesn't alter the effect though if ya take a smaller dose of the extract, at least in my experience.

I like to powder the leaf in a coffee grinder, mix the powder with nestles quick choc milk mix, add milk and down the hatch, easy to get down.

    So ..no big diffrence then...

Then I'll stick to my normal grounded leaves...
Still use capsules tho...don't feel any difference in thea or capsules..except for the taste,..so I prefere capsules !

By the time you purchase the bulk kratom and the everclear, go through the process, etc., you'd just be better off buying the pre-extracted product. It's cost prohibitive, because, unlike shrooms, you would have to start with a very large portion of kratom.

The extract is more expensive, of course, but if it's a good extract, it's worth the money. Problem is that you never know from one batch to the next which will be worthwhile. I just stick to the bulk commercial.
