Kratom Side Effects

Anyone notice any side effects with Kratom use? So far, I've only noticed that I constantly have an erection and that my penis size has increased about 65%. Hehe. Not really.

All joking aside, any side effects?

The only side effect I have noticed is becoming addicted due to how frickin' great it is.

I bought 14g from BBB, enough for two doses. Both doses were consumed in the same way, in a fruit/yogurt smoothie. The first was really good, euphoric and stimulating. The second time I had been drinking, probably 5-6 drinks a few hours before. It had the same effects till i started to come down. Then I got a really bad headache and vomited. I felt like I had consumed a jug of tequilla. I couldn't even hold down water. All I could do was lay in bed motionless and try to sleep.

I notice the floaty, buzzy feeling you get from kratom for a couple days after taking it, whenever I lay real still, but I don't consider it a bad thing, and that might just be me...

I have found Kratom to be most excellent also. The only side effect I get is related to ethanol consumption at the same as the Kratom. This combination is great while I'm doing it , but leaves a wicked headache in its wake. Nothing a little Ibuprofen can't take care of though.

I got little more of a pleasant feeling than a tingling in the head (and at first, the adrenaline rush of taking a new substance). As for side effects, I got a skin rash (aka hives).

OK so heres some info

I've been using Kratom daily for the last five days or so.

I have noticed an increased amout of hiccups which points to the fact that my diaphram is in spasm more often.

Also, my libido has DECREASED. I haven't been able to get off like I used to (and we'll leave it at that.)

Just a heads up. (cause mine hasn't been lol )

i have read that if you use it for long periods your cheeks can become discolored,
but there is no real proof of that yet.

I've taken kratom everyday for a few weeks with no real bad side effects.
i only took one dose a day, 8-10gs of Bali premium commercial, toss and wash.
Tolerance builds up and then levels off.
I don't know if I'd call it good for you, but I certainly didn't have any problems, in fact felt pretty good.
And my cheeks didn't turn yellow.
A lot of people have taken kratom everyday for a long time and don't report many problems.

I agree that mixing with alcohol while synergistic, can cause hangover.
In moderation is very pleasant though.

Same here..vomiting,headaches,..and a little tired two days after !
But,nothing more so far...

I have noticed that it takes a few minutes to urinate. I'm not sure why but I have trouble relaxing to "go."

I'm just reporting what I've experienced in the hope that others may have experienced the same or could benefit from the knowledge.

Problems urinating, problems getting off... sounds a lot like the effect of an opiate. Wikipedia says kratom has several alkaloids which act as opioid agonists (and antagonists as well), so that would appear to explain the similar side effects.

Do your pupils contract on kratom, i.e. get smaller?

Kratom most certainly does make your pupils small if you take enough.
I know this from experience.

aside from an opiate-like buzz, it does indeed have several side effects which aren't discussed much:

it gives you the strength of 10 russian women, it cures cancer, it makes you rich biatch, it makes you immune to STD's, it make your peepee 18" long and if you're a woman taking kratom then WATCH OUT cuz you're getting an 18" peepee too! it boosts your creativity for artwork and because of that i got 1st place in a crayola crayon eating contest, it makes gas cost $1/gallon cheaper for you and only you, it makes you smart enough to win jeopardy, it makes your balls HUGE, it makes all the hair on your back fall off, it makes your sweat smell like coconut, it makes you cook really good asian food - i mean REALLY good asian food, and it makes you superawesome... like... as a person.

I've taken to this stuff recently and will continue because I'm looking for a job that will probably require a drug test, so no MJ now. I like to take little breaks from pot every so often anyways and I haven't been an all day smoker for a while but I will say this time I didn't want to quit. I had a pretty good grip on my smoking habits and it has helped me kill a lot of stress lately. Kratom however completely destroys any remnants of bad day stress and leaves me feeling like Emmison J mentions above, lol. Only thing bad about this stuff is I can't take it everyday!
