Question what if...? (too much phosphoric acid)

i made some ayahuasca brew using the phosphoric acid method and i used to much phosphoric acid, i was thinking i could add baking soda to the brew to neutralize the exess phosphoric, would this work? i have heard of people doing this to neutralize exess HCl and the byproduct is CO2 and NaCl (table salt), what are the byproducts of a baking soda/phosphoric acid reaction? would they be harmful?

it's fine. you can add a bit at a time if it tastes way too acidic.
careful, it's not hard to add too much though. yucky.

    can't be done.

phos does not evap, adding a base will not help. its dead. for real.
go to the aya forums for Aya advice.
you have a type of battery acid now.
you only need 15drops of phos per gal H2O
    sorry

CO2, NaH2PO4, Na2HPO4, Na3PO4, H2O, I would think (the exact proportions depending on how much baking soda is used). In reality, this means that you'll have a solution with various amounts of different ionic species: Na+, H2PO4-, HPO42-, PO43-, HCO3-, etc..

A type of battery acid like civet perianal scent gland secretions*?
<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br> * In other words, not battery acid at all**?
** Because I'm assuming that you are referring to lead/acid batteries and if you try to use phosphoric acid in a such a battery I don't believe that it's going to work at all (just off the top of my head).
