The BEST way to smoke DMT! (IMHO)

MATCHES, i cant explain why but they are the shit!

I have prettymuch always used a strait-stem basepipe, i was usually able to breakthrough with the lighter but it tasted so shitty and always burned a little. then my buddy got into a bind and had to use matches, he told me they worked amazingly but i didnt believe him, i figured a flame is a flame. then i used the matches myself, HOLY SHIT, by far the dankest hits i had ever had and they had zero flavor, no plasticness, no hashness. i would NEVER use a lighter again. i have never used a match for smoking dmt on ash (i never had good luck with ash) but if you are using a basepipe of any kind i am telling you, TRY MATCHES! let me know what you think. i kinda stay away from the hard wooden matches, i stick with like packs of bar matches, hold it so the tip of the flame is around a 1/4" below the bulb of your pipe. inhale slow, and rotate the pipe back and forth to make the liquid dmt roll around above the flame. thats how i do it and it never fails, never, i rarely even taste the spice flavor and i always get thick heavenly vapor. check it out fellow DMTer's, let me know what you think?

why would matches be unsafe? they only smoke when you light em and after they go out. it seems to me that a wood flame would be better than butane fumes or some shit?

I agree, anythings better when you use a match, haven't tried dmt, but if you spark up a bowl full of your favorite chronic.. Heaven...

Years ago I smoked salvia with a candle cuz I had no lighter and few matches which kept going out and striking the book then picking up the pipe would make it hard to "break through", so I used a candle.

I was already high on an LSA extract and was by myself, 1 hit put me over the top, and a few moments later when I was comming off the salvia trip I jumped up and ran outside and was panicing, panting, and trying to regroup, when I came back in I realized I'd knocked over the candle and burnt the coffee table, not burnt down, but smoldered it. I was lucky not to have burnt the house or myself, I'd dropped the pipe with a smoldering bowl on the couch but that did'nt burn (luckily).

I think thats what he means by unsafe.

Many people smoke spice by themselves sometimes, matches wouldn't be safe, but being that DMT doesn't produce a smoldering bowl unless I guess it's on an herb, a lighter that goes out when the gas isn't being pressed on, (not a zippo type) is safe.

Maybe matches burn at a lower temp than lighters, maybe that's why it works better for you.

yeah, smoking with a flame source that doesnt go out when dropped is an easy way to go out in a blaze of glory

thick wooden matches dont work nearly as well as the thin pack-O-matches style. for sure

This probably has to do with the temp of the flame, perhaps less spice being "burned".

I use a butane windproof tourch type of thingy. Works great!!!!! It doesn't leave any soot stuff on the outside of the glass so i asume everything is being burned. I will send a pic when I get near my aparatus again. It is super ghetto but works like a charm

What is man made? The only thing I can think of is radiactive isotopes. It is not like we can will anything into exestince. Butane comes from oil that has been here longer than us. I would think that wood pulp processed down into paper is less natural the butane distilled from oil. Is DMT natural, even though there are many steps in extracting it?.....

yes dmt is natural. it is naturally produced in your brain, when you are born, when you die, and everytime you sleep it is released. it is probably the MOST natural drug.

I agree with you. I just threw that out for discussions sake. All things on earth are natural except radioactive isotopes and the decompose to normal things. Until we master subatomic particals and mark matter we cannot create anything. I still think butane is more natural than paper. Have you ever driven by a paper mill. That smell is horrible.
