    When to take cuttings?
    When is the best time to take cuttings for rooting new pedros? I have a few plants that I soon am going to hopefully put into dormancy..

    Should I take cuttings now a few weeks to a month before it gets cold enough for them to think about going dormant so they are fully healed and prepped for the growing season, or wait until it spring to take cuttings when they are coming out of dormancy?

    i like to take my cuttings in the spring after signs of new growth. the few i've done late in the season didn't root before going into dormancy and it took them most of the next growing season to do so.
