YouTube - Nu Nu
The Matses Indian PePe had made the Nu Nu. I did a total of 6 blows, 3 up each nostril administered by PePe, and what an experience. The Nu Nu visions I had were interesting, my vision was so distorted, CEV(closed eye visions) were of the surface of the water where I saw a caiman thrashing around within several rings, ripples in the water like when 2-3 rocks are tossed in at the same time, and I saw what I thought was small orange belly piranha jumping out of the water near it over and over again. The water was so visible like I could touch it, but there was this TV like quality to the whole scene with white noise behind, and the vision sharply overlayed, then those images slowly merged together while the caiman and piranha disappeared and the scene became one with a constant set of ripples flowing from the center non stop on the surface of the water. All immersed in this TV snow.
I'm allergic to tobacco and instead of 20-30min, I was out for 5hrs and all night. I just passed out after that, it was like being seasick, not wanting to move because of the nausea sensation, but what a peaceful dream filled sleep I experienced. Then I woke feeling good with the tobacco head. I wish I could do more but, the experience for me was just beyond any tobacco sickness I ever experienced.
The two plants in the nu-nu are mapacho and the inner bark of the macambo tree. Those 'nuts-on-a-stick' that looked like little brains. They were sort of squished flat and white and sold near where the boat takes you out to the Butterfly Farm in Iquitos, Peru. Those are macambo nuts. At camp on the Auchyacu the seed pods were large-brain-like green pods, not dissimilar to what breadfruit looks like.
