    Caapi tea, filter or not?
    Hello,

    I've been fasting for three days and have been brewing Ayahuasca to be used some time soon. Using Caapi and Mimosa.

    The question I have is about the Caapi, I found some contradicting information. Some source which seem to know what they are talking about, talks about not filtering the Caapi anymore, once you have reduced the tea to a drinkable/manageble amount. The same source goes on that this is not a problem to do with the Mimosa.

    Does anybody know if indeed, filtering reduced Caapi tea render it less effective?

    I don't really mind drink it as it is but there seems a sludge on the bottom which doesn't look to nice to take in
