Kratom: Smoke or consume?

Pretty much what the title says; I'm curious as to whether better effects would be achieved from either smoking or just eating it. Also, would smoking Kratom allow the effects to achieve faster, but less potent?

The alkaloids are not consentrated enough to make an effective smoke..Reported effects are minor and fleeting..
Much better to ingest or make tea..

Correct. Alks are absorbed through specialized membranes on contact. Dont waste it on smoking. Chew or make into a syrup and drink. Beware constipation. Peace

I would think even if you could smoke it, you would have to smoke upwards of 15 grams of the stuff. Ew.

Tea is definitely the way to go. Of course, you can smoke it if you want to. Smoking a bongload (been a while since I did this) is not terribly harsh or anything, but is short-lived and mild.

My favorite way to consume kratom is in an extract form. Just make a large batch of tea, and boil it until it becomes thick and most of the water has evaporated. This way you can store it in the fridge for future use. Of course, there is a loss in potency if you do it this way, so take that into account. But I like it because it's easy to consume. You can fit around a 5 gram dose into a shotglass, and let the good times roll.

And if ya really want to be lazy, just put some kratom powder in yer mouth and chase it with your beverage of choice. Tastes like nasty dry grass clippings, but it gets the job done. Just don't blow that shit all over the kitchen floor while trying to swallow it. lol.

Just toss a spoonful on the back of the tongue and suck it back with a glass of water...
teas and extracts are too time consuming; you lose potency (stuff ain't free, ya know),
and overall it's a pain, IMO...
