peyote seeds?

Anyone know where I can get some peyote seeds? And i saw on a site there are different varieties....is there any "1" that is better?

Federal law makes all parts of Lophophora williamsii (peyote) a schedule 1 illegal drug. This includes the seeds. Seeds of other species in the Lophophora genus, including L. diffusa are still legal.

for the varieties, just make sure its a true williamsii. there are lots of other lophs that people consider peyote but are hit or miss on the alkaloid content.

The caespistosa variety is a favorite of mine. It has many heads rather than just one. most are pretty small but you can get a rather large amount on one plant. i've seen pics of 300+ heads in 6-8 inch pots. i'm sure there are larger specimens out there.

The only true peyote is Lophophora Williamii it will specifically say that where ever you find to buy them.

Im in England where it is legal but do you know where I can purchase the seeds for the caespistosa variaty PsychoDrogue ? My source do not sell them

Are caespistosa the same as L.Wiliamii but multi heads ?

the ceaspistosa is a var. of williamsii. so yes it is true peyote with many heads...

sadly my seeds got lost amongst a bunk deal with an ex gf

psycho I would have to completley disagree with you, the only true peyote is lophophora williamsii, dont be mistaken by the variations. MurCurY you want the real deal Lophophora williamsii, its indeed the one with the highest mescaline alkaloid level out of them all, although its the slowest growing, its indeed well worth the effort.

Perhaps you could set me strait then.
I was under the impression that Caespitosa is a L. Williamsii variant.
Further I was under the impression that there are many variants within the L. Williamsii specie.
Texensis
Hipolito
Williamsii
and so on......
My reading has led me to the impression that each variant is slightly different in vegetative characteristics but similar in alkaloid content and that the vegetative differences are the result of adaptations to their repective geographic locations.

The L. Diffusa are rumored to be inactive thus explaining their legality in the US but I have seen no empirical data to support this information.

Im no pro but I thought the difference of some L.Williamii depends on what area they grow in making them look different from each other L.williamsii v San Antonio, L.williamsii v Rinconada, L.williamsii v Nuevo Yucatan Etc...

Some of the varients look completely different from each other even though they are Williamii so it must be very hard to really be 100% if a peyote is a true peyote.

I to would like someone to explain this if anyone knows but Caespitosa is going to be my next seed grow so it would be great news to hear that it is as potent as the standard LWilliamii. < Anyone know ?
