    i guess it depends on the temperature. where i live the temps are in the high 80's during the day now. i water every other or third day. having the plants in clay pots helps a lot as they will dry out quicker. if it rains more than a few days in a row i give them cover. you would be surprised how much water cactus can take if the soil dries out between waterings.

    I only water when the soil is completely dry. Too much water is bad. This i have learned the hard way.

    I have to remind myself that they are designed to live in hot, dry climates.

    its relly hot here all year round and the hot(er) season
    is the wet season. the T. pach/peruv are -ok- in teh typhoon rains but the bridg/lophs are not. i bring those inside when it gets wet
