Hello all.
I received 228g of Mimosa high quality inner bark from BBB.
Not trying to shill for BBB but they did a great job on the shipping. I ordered on Thurs night and only paid for the $5 shipping rather than the 15-20 option and I got my package on Mon afternoon.
And using the Lazymans STB method I had at least 1/2 a gram of DMT in about 2 hours total. Longer Naptha washes should produce much more DMT I would imagine. I only used 80g of the bark to do my first run and only shook the jar a few times b/4 pulling off the Naptha. I was not concerned with getting much the first pull as I would be doing further pull, I just wanted enough DMT to give it a try. Now I figure I will have far more DMT than I will ever want to do.
I put .1 g of DMT into a vaporiser and it filled the bag with thick white smoke. The smoke was not great tasting but not that horrible either. The first hit I only felt a little light headed. My heart was also pounding but that was just trepidation as i didn't know what to expect. The second hit I felt my face tingle and started to see things as little dots. Couldn't find the cap dealie for the bag so i took the last hit and once again things were dotlike and a little colorful. CEV's were more intense. Not a bad time except it feels like there is pressure on my chest when I take a hit even though I have no problem breathing at all. I am undecided about the whole thing although I will probably try some more b/4 I decide how I truly feel about it.
At least doing this gives me an idea about how extractions go as i will be soon trying the same thing with dried cacti. A bit different but similar in many ways.

hey shadow, glad your first extract turned out well!! that pile o' crystals looks pure and white. and your first 3 hits sound almost like mine - light headed/dizzy, then everything starts waving and undulating and oozing, then super intense awesome kaleidoscope CEVs. next time if you can get a few more hits in, you might reach closer to a break through dose. i haven't quite crossed over myself yet but i almost did last time, i met a dragonfly-winged blue glowing fairy guide remember to hold the hits in as long as you can. congrats on the spice!

I guess I used Loochypoochy's method to be more exact about it.
I ground up 75g of MHRB and in a quart jar I put 2 cups of water and 3tbs of Lye. I mixed it all together and let it sit for a while and then added 150ml of Naptha . After rolling around and waiting 15-20 mins I pulled the Naptha w/ a baster and evaporated the Naptha and got some nice off white flakes of DMT . Not pure crystals as it had an almost soaplike consitency but the cleanest I have pulled yet. The next several pulls soaked longer and have gotten yellower and gunkier. It requires recrystallization and the last longest soak I am freeze precipitating first. Either way I have gotten at least a couple of grams of product. More than I'll probably ever smoke as a few hits has satisfied my curiosity for the most part. While I always look forward to an LSd trip. the taste of the DMT and the almost uncomfortableness off the trip lead me to doubt I'll ever become much of a DMT fanatic.

Even a 1% yield, which is exceptional, would only give you 3/4 gram.

Swim recently did a mimosa extraction with 448 grams.. Yielded about 3 grams with 4 pulls.. It was evapped to form yellow shards which were very pleasant if you like being strapped to the front of a rocket during take off..

Swim followed a recent post.. Clean & Easy STB..

My foaf thinks you'll get even more if you do a couple more pulls after the sludge has been sitting at room temp for a few weeks

Well, I have not weighed it, so I don't have an exact amount. I said a couple meaning two and that is probably a bit overstated.
Wasn't trying to brag or tell fish tales. Just that I had a good pile of powder from my first run. Weighed out 3 .1g hits, still have about half of that powder left. Had a larger pile from my second pull and the third and fourth produced stuff that is more and more yellow. I also split the 228g bought into 3 parts and extracted from 2 of them. So probably 160g total..
Like I said, I haven't weighed it all and some is still drying.
The main point I was trying to make was that it wasn't hard to do and I had smokable DMT w/in a few hours.
All told, especially once it is all recrystallized etc, I will probably get 2 grams or less from everything. But I had great success considering I have never done this b/4.
It was also the high quality inner bark ( BBB's descrip, not mine )

All that being said, Norman is quite correct and is not an asshole, I did not mean to give the impression that I got grams and grams of stuff out of it.

That is good to know as I still have my 2 jars sitting there full of the Bark/Lye sludge. I am still waiting for the last evap to finish crystallize out of the oil and have a jar freeze precipitating from the last pull. Will get more Naptha ( Need more for recrys purposes anyway ) or possibly Heptane for the recrys but will get more and do another pull next week and see what else I get.
I will add some more pics of what all I got for my troubles.
